Parce que vous êtes parfaitement conscients que O’Tacos n’a de « Tacos » que le nom… il est grand temps de découvrir de véritables tacos mexicains, au cœur de Paris, non loin des baraques à Falafel de la rue des Rosiers. On fonce donc dans la petite et très conviviale taquería de la rue des Ecouffes, lieu haut en couleur créé par Lucia et Juan, proposant le meilleur de la cuisine mexicaine version « street food » gastronomique. Sur place ou à emporter, c’est une explosion de saveurs qui vous attend, notamment grâce au plat signature de Chilam, la langouste « al Pastor », divinement fondante et marinée (épice Axiote, chipotle, tequila), accompagnée d’ananas rôti. Vous pouvez également craquer pour des burritos Maison, des quesadillas au fromage fondant et chorizo ou encore une belle portion de guacamole avec ses chips tortillas Maison. Côté tacos, on goûte les yeux fermés à ces délices garnis d’effiloché de porc ultra-fondant et parfaitement assaisonné mariné pendant 24 heures, de poulet mariné, de canard mijoté, de tranches de thon mi-cuit ou encore de… requin ! Si vous êtes gourmands, vous tenterez également le moelleux au maïs et Dulce de Leche et pourquoi pas, un verre d’eau bien fraîche aromatisée, nous faisant penser à du jus de bissap. Bonne nouvelle, un nouveau Chilam va s’installer dans le tout nouveau Ground Control (75012) qui rouvre ses portes le 19 janvier !

If you really want to taste genuine Mexican tacos at the heart of Paris, go straight to Chilam, an amazing taquería, close to famous falafel food stalls from rue des Rosiers (Marais neighborhood). This colorful and small place, located in lovely rue des Ecouffes, is masterfully held by Lucia and Juan, introducing you to the best of Mexican gastronomy in a « street food » gourmet version. To eat-in or take-out, an explosion of flavors is waiting for you, including Chilam’s signature dish, the « al Pastor » spiny lobster, divinely melting and marinated (Axiote spices, chipotle, tequila), served with roasted pineapple. You can also fall in love with the homemade burritos, the cheesy quesadillas with chorizo or the large portion of homemade guacamole with homemade tortillas chips. As for the tacos, you can taste with your eyes closed these little marvels garnished with super-melting pulled pork, perfectly seasoned and marinated during 24 hours or, tacos garnished with marinated chicken, simmered duck, tuna slices or… shark ! If you want some sugar, you will try the corn cake with its Dulce de Leche and, why not, the homemade drink : fresh water tasting like bissap juice. Great news, a new Chilam will welcome you in the brand new Ground Control opening on January 19th !
